Why not introduce your students to the world of landscape art with this thorough set of art lessons. Three lessons that lead students through a wide variety of techniques and processes that culminate in the production of a cool landscape painting. Firstly, students are encouraged to explore dramatic landscape paintings by famous artists such as JWM Turner. Then they develop their own dramatic landscapes through sketch work and collage. Finally, they develop their best idea through the use of painting techniques. Each lesson plan has clear, step by step guidance for teachers, differentiation, materials list, homework, illustrations, links to other subjects and an really useful printable student guide to support learning. Also included is a fantastic slideshow of high quality landscape photos for inspiration. taking into account time for making, this project will fill the majority of a semester. This set of lesson has been tried and tested in one of the top Grammar Schools in the UK, and all feedback from parents and students has been amazing!
